The last journey

 

Chacao, 10th Febuary, 2020

This is it: one of my favourites photographs, It was took with my cellphone camera when me and my friend were crossing the Canal de Chacao, a mystic extension of water that is between Puerto Montt and Chiloé, and that for now, you can only cross on a ship. I think that it is a special picture for me because Chiloé is one of my favorite places to visit, I can found a lot of fresh air, in addition to its mysterious mythologycal characters that given to the Island an particular sensation, that might you feel when you take a walk by its picturesque landscape.

This picture was tooked at February 10, when me and my friend Branco decided to start a trip by the extreme south of Chile. Chiloé was the first step in our journey, and this picture represent effectively that moment. The sunset reflecting in the water it seems to teleport me to that precisely moment: one month before the pandemic.
